Previous owner of my truck had removed the gauges and replaced them with some cheap mechanical ones They sort of half worked and left the truck with some white faced gauges {aftermarket} and some black faced. Then today i go outside to go to work and i try to start my truck and my truck starts then like a second later it dies I tried to start it a couple. I've been seeing some guys talking bout setting the gap of the plugs in a vortec down to 0.40 instead of 0.60, mine is at 0.60 and it runs well but if dropping it down to 0.40 will help it out i will do it but i ain't found a straight answer on it really so let's get some feedback on this cause. The a/c has always worked perfectly We had our first warm day yesterday and when i turned on the a/c i got no cold Popped the hood and noticed the compressor was short cycling I think this happened once before with a 1988 gmt 400 i had at the time.
